About Texas Sweet Tea
Texas Sweet Tea was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet by the courts. She went to a non pro trainer to compete in the 2020 Spring training challenge but her trainer let her go early when a young girl fell in love with Texas Sweet Tea. She is going to an AMAZING new home to be a ranch horse and just general buddy for her adopter. Her trainer said she sees unlimited potential in Texas Sweet Tea and her adopter is a perfect match in every way. It is like they were made for one another. Congratulations to Texas Sweet Tea, who will now be known as Mimosa, and her new partner!
Evaluation and Training
Texas Sweet Tea is a special young mare. She has a playful and sweet personality. She is currently learning the basics under saddle and she does several things really well. She bathes, ties, stands for farrier, takes a bit and bridle and saddles. She is a bit spooky to sounds but not sights. In hand she can do obstacles like teeter totter, water bottle pit, flag and bag of cans. She has been working with her trainer for the spring challenge and she is getting better every day. Texas Sweet Tea will need an advanced rider to continue her training.
