About Classy
Classy was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner could no longer keep her. Classy competed in the Non-Pro Under Saddle division of the 2019 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo and met her adopter. Congratulations Classy!
Evaluation and Training
Classy's former owner had her from the time she was a young horse. She was mostly a pet, but she also started her under saddle. When she came to the rescue, she was very green, but also very sensible and quiet. Classy has spent over three months with a non-pro being ridden. She is easy to catch and stands great for the farrier. She has a super smooth trot and lope. She learns quickly and stays calm when she is asked to attempt new things. She has been ridden in an arena, over trail obstacles, and gone on trail rides. She is very desensitized to tarps,bags,flags, streamers,dogs. She has even gone to a couple of horse shows (to watch, not compete) and she's handled herself well. She's a nice mare who could be a nice open show horse, pleasure horse, or trail horse!
