About Reggie
Reggie and his herdmates were removed from a negligent rescue in a joint effort between Camp County Sheriff’s Department, Safe Haven Equine Rescue, and the Humane Society of the US. The case involved over 150 horses , and Bluebonnet was one of many horse rescues who stepped up to give the horses homes.
Evaluation and Training
Reggie is a sweet, kind horse. He is halter broke, leads, loads, and stands for the farrier. He also knows how to navigate trail obstacles in hand. Unfortunately, when Reggie went to a trainer for an evaluation, we discovered he was lame. A veterinarian examination revealed an old neck injury and slight neurological symptoms.
Reggie was available as a non-riding horse. He was adopted to be a pet and companion.
