About Chance
Chance came to BEHS in 2006 – the day of his first birthday. That’s the day his life turned around. He was emaciated when he came into the rescue, but his foster home carefully nursed him back to health. As he gained weight, he began to grow and grew into a handsome young horse. He was adopted the next year and his adopter planned to train him to ride. Unfortunately he ended up moving far away, but Chance’s adopter’s mother decided to adopt him when her son couldn’t keep him.
