Evaluation and Training

Rosie hadn't been handled a lot before coming to the Houston SPCA. They got her halter trained, and her Bluebonnet foster home will continue working with her.

Rosie was returned to Bluebonnet in late 2023, through no fault of her own.

Rosie is a very sweet and intelligent mare. She is light and responsive on the ground, as she tries to learn what her trainer is teaching her. She loads in the trailer well. She stands for grooming and fly spray. She is getting more comfortable about getting her pedicures. She's moving right along in her training and will hopefully be officially "under saddle" soon. This young mare has a bright future ahead of her!
