About Jolene
Jolene was a transfer to us from the Houston Humane Society from a big neglect seizure.
Her foster mom reports that she is a sweet girl with beautiful blue eyes who doesn't mind being low in the herd pecking order.
Evaluation and Training
We did not know much about Jolene’s history or training when she came to us, so we had a trainer evaluate her in August 2021. He said she stood well for saddling and bridling, but she did not seem to know a lot. Initially, she did not want to move forward but after a bit, she began to respond to the trainer’s legs and move. She likely hasn’t been ridden a lot, but she’s willing to learn and good to handle. She should make someone a great riding horse with a little more time under saddle.
