Evaluation and Training

Breezy went straight from a law enforcement case to her Training Challenge partner, a youth rider/handler. She is good to catch, halter, lead, and load. She stands tied for grooming and stands for baths, farrier work, and fly spray. She’s been introduced to obstacles and trails (in hand).

While we do not know Breezy’s history, her foster home has ridden her once and it appears she’s been ridden in the past. Her youth Challenge partner has been riding her both English and Western. They've hauled her to playdays to run barrels and poles, and she's handling everything they throw at her with ease.

Breezy is competing in the In-Hand division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Cami Sikes. Breezy will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 8, 2022, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center.

Breezy completed the training challenge and was adopted that very day!
