BEHS 1373 – Artie

Artie is a very sweet gelding who is great to have around: everyone who has met him so far loves him! He is good to catch, lead, and load. He stands well for grooming, the farrier, and fly spray.

Artie was enrolled in the 2023 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge but his trainer had to withdraw for personal reasons. She has continued working with him, though, and he’s become a solid riding horse. She’s ridden him in a round pen and arena at a walk, trot, and canter. She’s done some low level jumping, too. He could be a gorgeous trail horse, low level dressage horse, or a hunter horse. He would do best with an intermediate or above rider, although a confident beginner may be able to ride him under the supervision of a trainer/riding instructor.
