About Bruno

Bruno was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet by animal control. We know nothing of his history, other than he was often staked out and was an emaciated stallion upon arrival. Once healthy, he was gelded.

Bruno is competing in the In-Hand 13 and Over Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Cory. Bruno will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 5, 2024, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center. You can follow their progress on their Facebook page CLICK HERE

The Expo and Training Challenge will be held on October 5, 2024, at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor, Texas. For more information about the Expo CLICK HERE, or for information about adopting a challenge horse CLICK HERE.

Evaluation and Training

We know nothing of Bruno’s past, except that he ties well as he was often staked out before being removed by animal control. He can be a little uncertain with people and make take a few minutes to catch. Once caught, though, he loads in a trailer well. He leads, stands tied, and stands for fly spray. His foster home is still working on teaching him to pick up his hooves.
