Evaluation and Training

It is clear that Poppy has had fairly extensive training in the past but needs some refreshers. Most of Poppy’s basic skills are quite good - she is easy to catch and drops her head right into a halter, allows people to touch/pat all over her, picks up her feet, accepts fly spray, and enjoys being groomed and bathed. She is fairly pushy and impatient and does not like to stand still for long (especially while tied). Poppy has clearly been lunged in the past and has even done well with ground driving. She takes a saddle just fine. Her trainer will start riding soon.
