About Debbie
Debbie was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner could no longer keep her. She owned Debbie for many years and never had her trained to ride: she was just kept as a pet.
Debbie is competing in the In-Hand 12 and Under Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Gabby Davis. Debbie will be available for adoption on October 4, 2025, during the Bluebonnet Training Challenge and Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor, TX. Evaluation and Training
Debbie is fine to handle on the ground and does well living in a pasture with other horses. Unfortunately, she was never trained to ride and is now in her mid-twenties and too old to easily train.
She is looking for a home as a pet, companion to a lonely horse, or possibly a liberty or in hand obstacle horse (with training).
