Evaluation and Training

4-2026 Per foster: He is steadily gaining weight and continues to settle well into his routine. In the herd he’s the low man, preferring to avoid conflict and keep to himself, but he gets along well with his companions.

He’s currently working on building his topline. In the stall he halters easily, and he’s improving with picking up his feet. Out in the pasture he’s good to catch, and he loads well into the trailer.

With familiar handlers he is respectful and responsive, though he can be a little pushy with new people until he understands boundaries. Continued consistency helps him stay polite and tuned in.

He does have a healed scar on his forehead from a past injury, but it does not affect him.
