About Charlie Horse
Charlie Horse came to BEHS as part of a neglect case. He was emaciated and lethargic when he arrived, but he slowly recovered from the neglect he suffered at the hands of his previous owner. His foster family said he was a sweet horse, and they fell in love with him. His vet believed he was at least 25 years old. He recovered from neglect, and he enjoyed several happy months with a full belly and lots of love. Charlie Horse left us due to complications of old age, and he leaves behind a grieving foster family.
