About Callahan
Callahan was discovered estray and placed with BEHS when his owners were not located. Callahan competed in the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and received 2nd place in the youth division. His trainer for the event fell in love with him and decided to adopt him. In 2017, Callahan's family discovered he had passed away overnight. Our sympathy goes to Sarah, Lori, Callahan and everyone who knew him.
Evaluation and Training
Callahan likes to be near people and seems willing to try. He gets along well in his current herd at his foster home, and his foster home is teaching him ground manners. He is a sweet, willing guy, and he tries hard to do what his handler asks him to do. He's quick on his feet, fearless over obstacles, and has a good mind. He would be great for trails, pleasure, or almost anything!
Callahan is competing with Sarah Osborn in the youth division of the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. He will be available for adoption at the Challenge on October 19th, 2013 at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.
