About Remington
Remington was removed from negligent owners and placed with BEHS. He recovered and his foster home discovered he was a nice riding horse, although fairly green under saddle. He was adopted and returned in 2018 when his adopters decided he wasn't working out for them.Remington attended the 2018 Bluebonnet Horse Expo and met his new adopter at the Expo! Congrats to Remington and his family!
Evaluation and Training
Remington is a gentle giant who has a little pep in his step. His foster family has been riding him in the forest and local arena. Because of his size, he tends to have a big trot, which might be difficult for a beginner rider. He loads, stands for farrier, grooming, and fly spray. He is easy to saddle and bridle, and he stands to mount. His foster home says that he is a joy to ride.Remington’s foster home says that he has no bad habits under saddle, but he does prefer to trail ride with a buddy. Remington has a lot to offer his lucky adopter!Remington’s current foster home ridden him while carrying a flag and while dragging tires. She has also thrown a rope off of him, and none of these things bothered him at all.
