About Ladybug
Ladybug was discovered estray. She was placed with BEHS when law enforcement could not find her owners. Ladybug attended the 2014 Bluebonnet Horse Expo and was adopted at the event!
Evaluation and Training
Ladybug doesn't appear to have been handled much before coming to BEHS. She's getting easier to catch and halter, and she's learning to lead, stand tied, and have her hooves handled. Because Ladybug is a miniature horse, not a pony, she should not be ridden (even by children), but she could be trained to drive or cross trail obstacles in hand. She also likes other horses and could be a nice companion.
