About Golly Gee
Golly Gee and her herdmates were removed from a negligent owner and placed with BEHS. Golly Gee attended the 2016 Bluebonnet Horse Expo and was adopted at the event.
Evaluation and Training
When Golly Gee first got to her foster family, she was nervous about people and difficult to load. She was so worried about people,in fact, that she wouldn't even come near her foster family to eat. Her foster family slowly worked to gain her trust, and their time paid off. She now comes running when called and happily enters her stall for dinner time. She's also easy to catch and loves attention. Golly Gee now stands for the farrier and for fly spray, and she's learned to load well. Her foster home says she has a lot of personality and will make someone a nice little horse. She's spending six weeks with trainer Shauna Pollan (Sept.-October 2016). Shauna has started her under saddle and plans to have her going in an arena, over obstacles, and on trails before late October. She will be green but is a sweet horse who is willing. She should make a nice riding horse for a lucky adopter.
