About Cinnamon

This mare was placed with Bluebonnet when her owners could no longer keep her. Cinnamon is a well trained show and trail horse, and she was adopted as a riding horse. Cinnamon was returned a month after being adopted because she was too much horse for her new family. Cinnamon was adopted briefly in the spring of 2017 but returned when she didn't work out for her adopters. Fortunately, someone who knew her before she came to Bluebonnet saw her at the rescue and wanted to her adopt her. She's now home with people and a horse she's know in the past!

Evaluation and Training

This mare has been trained and shown extensively as a Country English Pleasure horse (saddleseat riding). She's been ridden in a saddleseat saddle and double bridle, and she has also been trail ridden and even used to cut cattle.

Since she's a saddleseat horse, she has a huge, fast trot - and she may intimidate more novice riders.
