About Humphrey
Humphrey and his herdmates were placed with Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society when his owner was investigated for neglect. After e recovered, he went to a trainer who discovered he was broke to ride. The foster home who had completed his rehab decided at that point that they loved him and adopted him!
Evaluation and Training
Humphrey is good to catch, lead, and load. Humphrey can be a good riding horse. From his trainer Hilary, "I have been trying to erase the years of bad handling that allowed him to push into pressure. He needs consistent corrections to continue his success. He has no buck, rear or bolt. I think he will be a nice trail horse for someone willing to continue his training.
