About Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia was rescued from a neglect case, along with her 1 year old sister/pasture mate, Cissy, and five other horses, She was enrolled in the 2019 spring Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and placed 2nd in the professional division. She was adopted that day by a therapy program that focuses on individuals with emotional needs. We cannot wait to hear how she does!
Evaluation and Training
Cassiopeia did not have any training when she came to Bluebonnet. Her foster home taught her to lead, load, and stand for the farrier. Cass was started under saddle by Saydea Bortke in early 2019. Saydea has been riding her in an arena, down the road, and on trails. Cass is excelleing at saddle work and is going to make someone an amazing horse!
