We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Williams, PhD and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, what’s the most important think you’ve done for your children?
I have a six year old daughter, and I think growing up with a mom who runs a nonprofit horse rescue teachs her several important lessons: 1) About social responsibility: She is learning that we have to help each other out and that we have to take care of those who cannot advocate for themselves. 2) Responsibility: She is learning to help care for the horses who come to us. She has chores and helps with the horses. 3) Kindness: We teach her that kindness is the most important thing we can have: to be kind to each other, to take care of others, and to treat others well.
